Disney announced new Disney Cruise Line itineraries for Fall 2026 through Spring 2027. In this post, I’m going to break down the options for September 2026 through May 2027. I’ll organize this post by ship, talking through each ships upcoming itineraries with special callouts to stops at Disney’s private ports. Here we go!
Note: Early bookings for these itineraries open on August 25, 2025, for select Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members, and general bookings open September 2, 2025, on DisneyCruise.com. If you’re interested in a cruise, we recommend reaching out to Lauren Quirk of Travel with Character LLC. Disney Wish Class Ships
The Wish Class are Disney’s newest and best ships (Disney Adventure aside, beginning December 2025).
Disney Wish
The Disney Wish will stick to a standard lineup of 3-and-4 night itineraries to the Bahamas—including a stop at either Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay—out of Port Canaveral. We reviewed a 3-night Bahamas cruise on the Wish here. (The Wish schedule ends in April 2027, at which point the Dream arrives to take over these itineraries.)
The Disney Wish at Castaway Cay
Disney Treasure
The Disney Treasure continues its usual routine, operating 7-night Caribbean itineraries out of Port Canaveral. Notably, the Treasure visits Castaway Cay but won’t make it to Lookout Cay this season.
Disney Destiny
With the Wish and Treasure hogging a lot of the space at Port Canaveral, their newest (but not “little”) sister ship, the Disney Destiny, will operate out of Fort Lauderdale. From there, it does a wide variety of 3-to-7 night Bahamian or Caribbean itineraries. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to stop at Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay, or both.
Disney Dream Class Ships
The Dream Class is the middle child of the Disney Cruise Line ship classes. Newer than the Magic Class, but older than the Wish Class. They’re actually about the same size at the Wish Class ships, but they lack some of the more modern touches (on one hand) and design flaws (on the other) of the newest ships.
Disney Dream
The Disney Dream wraps up its summer in Europe in late September 2026, sailing from Southampton to Fort Lauderdale September 14 to 27, 2026. From then until May 2027, the ship does a variety of Bahamian and Caribbean itineraries. It starts in Fort Lauderdale before repositioning—via two 7-night itineraries to and from Puerto Rico—to Port Canaveral in April 2027, where it takes over the itineraries typically operated by the Wish.
Notable to my eye is the Christmas 2026 itinerary. From December 21 - 27, 2026, it makes two stops at Castaway Cay and one at Lookout Cay.
The Disney Fantasy
Disney Fantasy
The Disney Fantasy will stick to Bahamian and Caribbean itineraries out of Port Canaveral. It does a variety of itineraries, including some with two stops at Castaway Cay and several with stops at both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. We reviewed such a 5-night cruise on the Disney Fantasy here.
Disney Magic Class Ships
The oldest two ships in the Disney fleet are the Magic and the Wonder. After summering in Alaska, they’ll split their combined time between San Diego and Galveston, mostly visiting Mexico.
Disney Magic
The Disney Magic finishes up summer 2026 in Alaska in mid-September, heading from Vancouver to San Diego from September 17 to 21. After a few months operating 3-to-7 night itineraries visiting Mexico out of San Diego, the ship takes an epic 14-night cruise through the Panama Canal from San Diego to Galveston on November 6 to 20, 2026.
After a spring visiting (mostly) Mexico out of Galveston, the Magic does the Panama Canal trip the other direction, returning to San Diego on an April 25 to May 9, 2027 journey.
Disney Wonder
The Wonder—the Magic’s sister ship—follows a similar path as the Magic but without the time in Galveston. The Wonder will finish its summer in Alaska in late September before heading to San Diego, where it will spend the fall and spring on 3-to-7 night trips to Mexico. The Wonder wraps up the spring with a return to Vancouver on a May 6 to 10, 2027 trip.
Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure will continue to live and operate out of Singapore, alternating 3-and-4 night itineraries at sea.
