Disney World 2019 Free Dining Dates Announced! Available to Book!

Free Dining 2019 Announcement & Dates

Free Dining has been announced for Walt Disney World. Free dining was announced uncharacteristically early—on January 2, 2019. You have to book by February 10, 2019 and the offer is valid for arrivals between July 5 and September 30, 2019 for 5-night/6-day stays. You can read our complete guide to the Disney World dining plans here.

Terms for Free Dining 2019

The Disney website currently specifies that the offer applies to 5-night / 6-day stays and to ask about stays of other lengths. We’re awaiting word on what the exact terms are, and I’ve seen reports of a 4-night stay minimum.

Guests at Deluxe resorts receive a free (standard) Disney Dining Plan. Guests at moderate and value resorts will receive a free Quick Service Dining Plan. You can read more about those in our complete guide to the Disney World dining plans here. We’ve also ranked the quick service restaurants at Hollywood Studios if you’re interested in those.

Certain hotels are excluded, most notably: Port Orleans - French Quarter, Art of Animation Little Mermaid Rooms, and All-Star Movies.

Will This Be The Best Free Dining Offer In 2019?

At this point—we don’t know! But Disney World reservations are highly modifiable (work with an agent to be sure you know exactly when you can modify by), so it’s probably a good idea to grab this deal while it’s here, if you’re interested in free dining.

The 5-night / 6-day restriction is wildly restrictive, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see a more expansive offer pop up later in the year, probably around the typical end of April announcement date. But that’s all speculation.
