2025 Pricing for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Revealed

Today marks the start of ticket sales for the 2025 edition of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Specifically, guests with Disney hotel stays during the party dates can purchase tickets for those dates. We’ve got a Complete Guide to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.

As a result of ticket sales opening, pricing is beginning to roll out, and I wanted to take a second to provide you with the approximate post-tax prices for adults and kids.

They’re “approximate” because 6.5% tax doesn’t always round in real life exactly the way it does on my computer, I guess. Also, kid prices are calculated by assuming a standard $10 pre-tax “discount” from the adult pricing, which is not necessarily the case for every date. I’ll confirm these figures when ticket sales open to the general public. Discounts are also available for annual passholders and DVC members on select dates. Again, approximate post-tax pricing:

(After Tax Approx) Adult Child
August 15 $158.69 $148.04
August 17 $126.74 $116.09
August 19 $126.74 $116.09

October 31 $243.89 $233.24

As expected, the most expensive party dates for 2025 are October 30 and 31, when adults can expect to pay just under $244 after tax for a single ticket. A family of two adults and two children would spend around $954 to visit on that date.

By contrast, the least expensive dates are August 17 and 19, when an adult tickets will cost just under $127 after tax and a family of four will spend around $486. These dates are the two dates after the first party, which naturally carries a higher price of about $159 after tax per adult.

Commentary

Prices are indeed eye-popping, but Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has historically sold out most nights, and there’s no reason to doubt it will even sell out on the two most expensive nights of All Hallows’ Eve and All Hallows’ Eve Eve.’

By contrast, a one-day ticket to Magic Kingdom on October 31 costs $190.64, or over $50 less than a party ticket. That said, it’s sort of comparing poison apples to poison oranges to compare a day at Magic Kingdom to an evening at the party.

As we’ve repeatedly stressed, you’re not paying for rides, or for the same shows when you pay for one of Mickey’s parties—you’re paying for the exclusive entertainment, the atmosphere, and the chance to do Halloween inside Magic Kingdom.

This is why it’s also unhelpful to compare the parties to After Hours. The After Hours events look facially similar to the holiday parties—ticketed events after the park closes to other guests. But After Hours starts later and is a ride-efficiency play, pure and simple. You go to After Hours for the chance to cram almost a whole park into a few hours. You go to Not So Scary to do things you cannot do during regular hours.

All of this is to say the “worth it” question, which we’ll revisit in August after we attend, is a hard question. Zoe and Emily will join me on this trip, evidence that I think it’s at least somewhat worth it for all of us. But I expect to struggle with the issue more this year than in years past. Prices are going to the moon, and it’s not clear to me that quality is keeping pace. But maybe we’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Will you be visiting Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year?
