The weak link for us when it comes to kicking butt at Disney is usually our phone batteries. Besides Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, we spend a lot of time on our apps making sure we're getting the most out of the Disney experience. Here are the apps you need to know to master Fastpass at the different Disney resorts.

Best Disney World Fastpass Apps

Disney World Fastpass is the most complicated of the Fastpass systems (so much that they call it Fastpass+), but luckily there are some good apps to support you! Check out our Walt Disney World Fastpass+ strategy here.

My Disney Experience (by Disney) (Free)

Honestly, we think Walt Disney World Fastpass planning can begin and end with the My Disney Experience app. The other apps we discuss are definitely useful, but if you become a true expert in Fastpass+ and the My Disney Experience app, you'll be set to have a great time at Walt Disney World.

Touring Plans - Disney World Lines (Free, Subscription for full features)

Touring Plans is THE source for next-level Walt Disney World planning. Their Walt Disney World crowd calendar is among the best. Len Testa and his team of statisticians—yes, statisticians—put together data-driven plans and guides for getting the most out of your time at Walt Disney World. The Touring Plans Walt Disney World app is a must if you want to take your Walt Disney World experience to the next level.

Use these apps to skip the long waits at rides like Splash Mountain!

Undercover Tourist is primarily a great source for discount park tickets, but they've expanded into discount hotels and, what matters here, helping you get the most out of your time in Walt Disney World. This includes a great Walt Disney World crowd calendar. We're fans of their thoughtful but straightforward analysis and the fact that they offer great resources for free!

Best Disneyland Fastpass Apps

Ah, Disneyland Fastpass, the second-most complicated (after Walt Disney World) but most controversial of the Disney fastpass experiences.

Touring Plans - Disneyland Lines (free, Subscription for full features)

As with Walt Disney World, Touring Plans has an excellent Disneyland product. Because Disneyland is a busy, complicated park with a limited Fastpass system, we highly recommend using Touring Plans.

Disneyland (by Disney) (free)

While Disneyland mostly operates on a traditional, paper-ticket system, they also offer MaxPass, which can be purchased through the Disneyland App and allows you to book Fastpass reservations through the app. The app also provides ride wait times.

The Disneyland Paris App (free)

While the Disneyland Paris app is not specifically helpful for Fastpass, it is the only official source of wait times. Disneyland Paris operates entirely on the traditional, paper ticket-based system, so you'll need to go to physical park kiosks to recover tickets.

Check out our guide to Fastpass at Disneyland Paris here.

Skip the line at Disneyland Paris and spend your time taking in the amazing scenery!

The Shanghai Disneyland App (free)

The best Fastpass app for Shanghai Disneyland is the Shanghai Disney Resort app. This is the only app outside of My Disney Experience that allows you to book Fastpass reservations through the app for free. You can also purchase Disney Premier Access through the app if you want to guarantee a ride without grabbing a Fastpass for it.

Check out our guide to Fastpass at Shanghai Disneyland here.

The Hong Kong Disneyland App (free)

The best Fastpass app for Hong Kong Disneyland is the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort app. We've heard this app can display the current available Fastpass times, though it currently does not appear to do so, and you cannot use the app to book Fastpass tickets. Hong Kong Disneyland operates entirely on the traditional, paper ticket-based system, so you'll need to go to physical park kiosks to recover tickets. The app does display current wait times for rides.

Apps For Tokyo Disney Resort??

Tokyo Disney Resort does not have an official app. It also operates entirely on the traditional, paper ticket-based system, so you'll need to go to physical park kiosks to recover tickets.

We have not been able to find a trustworthy recommendation for an app, nor have we had the chance to test one. Once we do, we'll update this post.

What did we miss? Any apps you need for Fastpass at the various parks?
