Where To Grab A Drink at Hollywood Studios

In this post, we give an overview of places to grab a drink (of alcohol) in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This isn’t a comprehensive list—it leaves out snack stands (many of which carry beer), quick service stops that don’t primarily focus on beverages, and table service restaurants. With that said, let’s talk about where you can grab a drink at Hollywood Studios!

Oga’s Cantina, Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Oga’s Cantina

Oga’s Cantina is the famed bar in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. It offers a range of creative alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Reservations are recommended, though a standby line is often available.

Once inside, you have a 45-minute maximum time limit and a two-drink maximum limit (these rules are sometimes flexible, and have come and gone, but please just respect your waitstaff / bartender and the boundaries they choose to enforce).

One big thing to know about Oga’s is that it’s worth visiting even if you’re not getting alcohol. In fact, we don’t usually get alcohol there anymore. The non-alcoholic cocktails are just as “fun,” and they’re cheaper (but not cheap, of course).

Since you’re subject to the 45-minute limit anyways, you’re not buying alcohol as a way of “paying” for your seat, which is the common justification for cool bars charging high prices.

Ideally, you’ll book a reservation for Oga’s in advance. It’s part of the same dining reservation system as Disney World’s table service restaurants, meaning you’ll be looking at booking 60 days in advance of your visit date (or hotel arrival date, in the case of Disney hotel guests). I’ve had luck finding availability for a few people on shorter notice, and I’ve successfully used Mouse Dining to snag times, too.

If you’ve brought a child to Hollywood Studios, they are welcome in Oga’s. There are high chairs available, including of different heights for different seating arrangements (though availability of specific high chairs may vary).

Oga’s is located between the Millennium Falcon and First Order Cargo / Kylo Ren’s TIE Echelon.

BaseLine Tap House

BaseLine is the go-to for beer at Hollywood Studios. It typically carries a lineup of about eight beers, along with a few wines and cocktails on tap.

The Tap House is located at the end of Commissary Lane just outside the Grand Avenue area and the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge, between Muppet Vision 3D and Star Tours. It’s right next to Sci-Fi Diner.

It’s counter service, so just step on up and place your order, then find a seat or standing space. Baseline also serves a small selection of food.

Ice Cold Hydraulics (New!)

Ice Cold Hydraulics is maybe a little small to be so early on this list, but I include it here for two reasons. First, it’s new! Second, it’s just outside Baseline Tap House, so it makes sense to be aware of this option if you’re already planning to be in the area.

Ice Cold Hydraulics offers wine and a small draft beer selection, but it’s main alcoholic offering is Frozen Coke with whiskey, rum, or vodka.

Tune-In Lounge

Tune-In is the bar associated with 50s Prime Time Cafe, the 50s themed table service restaurant. While I love the bar’s theming, it can get a bit crowded as it houses guests waiting for tables at Prime Time.

Probably the best thing about Tune-In is that it serves the 50s Prime Time Cafe menu. This makes it the best option if you’re looking for food with your drink. This is, of course, another reason it tends to remain crowded and have low turnover.

Tune-In Lounge is located next to 50s Prime Time Cafe, on Echo Lake (the lake with Gertie the dinosaur, next to Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular).

Brown Derby Lounge

Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is an outdoor bar associated with The Hollywood Brown Derby Restaurant. Unless you’re getting food or a specific drink there appeals to you, or you’re particularly interested in outdoor seating and Baseline is full, I don’t really see much reason to visit Brown Derby Lounge.

The reason is simply that the bar is a sort of cramped, pop-up bar outside the restaurant. There’s no theming, it’s outside (like the rest of the park), and there are better places to grab a seat and enjoy a view (just walk over to Echo Lake).

The food menu borrows some highlights from the full Brown Derby menu, but it isn’t at all comprehensive.

Milk Stand

Milk Stand is the first of three smaller spots we’re going to cover. The stand is located opposite First Order Cargo and the TIE Echelon:

Milk Stand is unique because it serves blue and green “milk.” These concoctions are coconut/rice milk slushies with fruit flavoring in their non-alcoholic forms.

With alcohol, blue milk includes rum and green milk includes tequila. While I don’t feel like either of these is something to write home about, they’re at least a unique offering in an otherwise (mostly) uninteresting Disney World alcohol scene.

Oasis Canteen & Sunshine Day Bar

Oasis Canteen is a walk-up kiosk near the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. It has beer, specialty cocktails, and a full bar.

Similarly, Sunshine Day Bar is a walk-up kiosk on Sunset Boulevard, near the seating for the quick service restaurants (on the left side if you’re walking to Tower of Terror). It also has beers, specialty cocktails, and a full bar.
