Enter to Win a $16,000 Disney World Vacation

Disney recently unveiled a new sweepstakes for a chance to win a Disney World vacation valued at approximately $16,000. Here’s everything you need to know, starting with the prize and then the ways to enter (hint: you don’t need to be a Disney+ subscriber)…

Bottom Line

In case you just want to get to it, here’s the link to the Disney+ perks page where you can enter the contest. Here are the Terms and Conditions, which include the way for non-subscribers to enter.

What’s a $16,000 Disney World Vacation?

I put the “baseline” cost for a family of four—the same size Disney uses for the promo—to travel to Disney World at $7,093 in my post on how much it costs to travel to Disney World. Obviously, if this promo is saying it’s worth $16,000, it’s going to offer a bit more than my “baseline” trip—and it does!

Here’s how the Terms and Conditions describe the prize:

Prize: The Winner will receive one (1) five (5) day/four (4) night vacation for up to four (4) persons (i.e., Winner and up to three [3] guests) (each a "Guest"; collectively, "Guests" and together with the Winner, the "Group"), to the Walt Disney World® Resort ("Vacation Package").

The Vacation Package shall consist of the following components:

i. Up to four (4) roundtrip coach airfares (with possible layovers) between the major international gateway airport closest to the Winner’s residence ("Departure Airport") and the Orlando International Airport ("Arrival Airport") (if the Winner resides within a two hundred and fifty (250)-mile radius of the Walt Disney World® Resort, airfare will not be provided);

ii. Roundtrip ground transfers between the Arrival Airport and the Walt Disney World® Resort (if applicable);

iii. One (1) Concierge level room (with a maximum of four [4] persons per room) for four (4) nights at a hotel at the Walt Disney World® Resort, selected by Disney in its sole discretion (daily parking is not included);

iv. Up to four (4) 5-Day Theme Park Tickets with Park Hopper® option (subject to restrictions).

v. Four (4) Disney Gift Cards with a value of four hundred dollars ($400.00) each (subject to restrictions available at https://www.disneygiftcard.com/terms/us).

vi. One (1) Walt Disney World® Resort VIP Tour Guide on one (1) day for the Group during the Vacation Package for up to eight (8) consecutive hours.

And note: “Travel for the Vacation Package must be booked at least forty-five (45) days prior to the intended travel dates and must occur from November 9, 2025 to August 27, 2026.”

The terms estimate this prize to have an approximate retail value of $16,061.56. What pumps this up from my more typical $7000 estimate for a trip to Disney World is mostly:

  • A “Concierge level room”

  • $1600 in gift cards

  • 8 hours of a VIP tour

On the flip side, you’d want to note that the gift cards will go some way toward covering Lightning Lanes, dining, and merchandise, which aren’t a part of the prize.

No one cares except me, but for some reason the Terms use the phrase “Concierge level room.” I believe this is a misnomer for “Club Level room”, as I discuss in my post about Club Level at Disney World. Indeed, a search of all the “go.com” sites returns mostly planDisney and Disney Cruise Line for this term:

And also, I don’t know what’s up with the “daily parking is not included” line. That’s odd—Disney hotel guests get free parking.

Entering The Sweepstakes (With and Without a Disney+ Account)

If you don’t have a Disney+ account you have two options. First, you can sign up for Disney+ and then see below. I believe the cheapest option right now is a $10.99 per month Disney+, Hulu Bundle with ads.

Alternatively, you can check out the Terms and Conditions. Most sweepstakes in the United States cannot require purchase, so there’s usually a free way to enter. In this case, the Terms provide a way to enter by mail under the heading “Free Alternate Method of Entry Form ("AMOE")”. (I don’t want anything to change or get lost, so I’m not putting the info here).

If you have a Disney+ account, the steps are pretty straightforward, and I included some screenshots below:

  1. Visit the Disney+ Perks dashboard at https://perks.disneyplus.com/.

  2. Find “Featured Perks”

  3. Scroll to “Chance to Win a Walt Disney World Dream Vacation”

  4. Click Learn More, Enter Now

  5. Check boxes, hit submit
