If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you probably want everything to be perfect for the dollars you’re spending. That means you probably don’t want to arrive to a closed pool or a freshly gutted lobby. In this post, we’ll outline the major hotel refurbishment and construction going on at Disney World!
About This Post and Related Posts
This post focuses on construction work at Disney’s hotels in Disney World. We have a separate post addressing ride and attraction refurbishments and closures.
As always, for the most certainty you’ll want to visit the Disney World website, consult with a travel advisor, or check forums / social media for recent guest reports. Most of the information here is direct from the Disney World website. When it isn’t, I try to link to a source.
This post is usually dated as of its most recent update, but I’ll sometimes make small updates without changing the date.
This post is organized by hotel tier (value, moderate, deluxe & DVC). I provide a link to my tier-specific post to start each section, but you might also consult our Guide to the Hotels of Walt Disney World.
