Disney Holiday Movies on Display at Hollywood Studios

I happened to be in Hollywood Studios yesterday (more to come), and stopped by “Walt Disney Presents…” to check out this new display with props from some Disney Christmas films. I just want to share some photos really quickly, because this is a really neat collection. It covers four films—The Santa Clause, Noelle, A Muppet Christmas Carol, and Babes in Toyland.

As you can see, the theater was showing three holiday shorts on a loop (including Pluto’s Christmas Tree, complete with Mickey attacking Pluto and calling him a “dumb mutt”). This is also where you’ll find the Santa Claus greeting. Here’s a quick look at the displays…

First up is The Santa Clause. There are several outfits, including Scott’s fancy pajamas, plus a few smaller props.

Two of the snow globes made there way here. Charlie’s isn’t here, and I’d be interested to know why.

I’m the sort of person who thinks they should sells this hot cocoa mug, but I wouldn’t buy it and I suspect more people would be confused than would have any idea where it’s from.

Yes—I just about put my head through the glass trying to get a look at Santa’s business card. Here’s hoping some blogger working with a better camera gets really cool pics of this one.

The Muppet Christmas Carol was my first exposure to A Christmas Carol, and it’s a fixture of our family’s holiday season. Highly recommend.

I’ve also always liked Noelle, which was one of the first Disney+ original movies. Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader are great. It’s the definition of a “cute” movie. Wish I’d gotten a better look at that book!

I’m not familiar with Babes in Toyland, though as I write this it occurs to me I am familiar with the song, “Toyland.” Maybe I’ll check out the movie this year.

That’s all for now! I’ll be sharing more from my time in the parks soon!
